Maintenance and service
Maintenance and service for your purification units
Little is needed: a bulb about every 36 months of continuous running, the odd capacitor, and replacement of any broken or damaged unit within warranty.
Chapter 01
One bulb, about every 36 months.
Little is required once the units are in. The part that wears is the bulb, and a typical bulb lasts about 36 months running continuously, which is three years of the units doing their job without anyone touching them.
Occasionally a capacitor needs replacing. That's the other item on the list, and it's the whole list.
Because bulb life is counted in continuous running, the fan schedule the engineer read at your assessment is the starting point for putting the change on your calendar.

If something breaks, we replace it.
Clean Science replaces any broken or damaged product within the window of warranty, so a failed unit is a phone call and not a project.
The phone is answered 24 hours a day at (917) 407-5822. Service options are also available if you'd rather not carry the bulb schedule yourself, so ask about them when you request your quote.
Every unit Clean Science supplies is made by RGF Environmental Group in Riviera Beach, Florida, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, and each unit has a spec sheet you can download from the products page.
Chapter 03
Why the list stays this short.
A bulb about every 36 months, the odd capacitor, and a warranty that covers broken or damaged units.
The PHI-Cell has been used globally for over 20 years, and Clean Science reports that more than four million Advanced Oxidation Technology products have been used worldwide without safety issues for over 15 years. Maintenance is the quiet end of a technology with a long record behind it.
In practice that means the work after install is a calendar entry every 36 months or so, and a phone number for the rare exception.
